Alanna Dixon, MA, IBCLC, RLC, graduated from Saint Leo University in 2006 with a B.S. in Health Care Administration. She completed her M.A. in Health and Wellness from Union Institute and University and became an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) in 2011 and recertified in 2016 and again in 2021. Alanna has been assisting women with breastfeeding since 2008.
Alanna lives in Key Largo, Florida with her wonderful husband and three beautiful children. After the birth of her first child, she needed the guidance of a lactation consultant to resolve some issues and went on to breastfeed for 19 months. Friends and family began to seek her advice on certain breastfeeding issues and Alanna realized she found her passion; helping other mothers and babies with breastfeeding. From helping friends and family, to her work at WIC, she enjoys assisting mothers to meet their breastfeeding goals, whatever that may be.
